These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Smiley’s Cleaning Services website and any cleaning services provided by Smiley’s Cleaning Services (“Smiley’s,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By requesting a quote, scheduling service, submitting payment, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services Provided
Smiley’s Cleaning Services provides professional cleaning services including, but not limited to:
- Commercial cleaning
- Janitorial services
- Airbnb and short-term rental cleaning
The specific scope of services is determined based on the details provided by the client at the time of booking or quoting.
2. Estimates and Pricing
All quotes provided by Smiley’s Cleaning Services are estimates based on the information supplied by the client. Final pricing may change if:
- The size or condition of the space differs from what was disclosed
- Additional services are requested
- Excessive dirt, debris, biohazards, or unsafe conditions are present
Any pricing adjustments will be communicated before service is completed whenever possible.
3. Scheduling and Access
Clients are responsible for ensuring safe and timely access to the property at the scheduled service time. This includes:
- Unlocked doors or correct access codes
- Alarm instructions
- Secured pets
If our team cannot access the property, Smiley’s reserves the right to charge a lockout or cancellation fee.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We require advance notice for cancellations or rescheduling:
- At least 24 hours’ notice for standard services
- Short-notice cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee
Same-day cancellations or no-shows may be charged up to the full service amount.
5. Payments and Deposits
Payment terms vary by service type and may include deposits. By booking service, you agree to the following:
- Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated
- Payment is due upon completion of service unless prior arrangements are made
- Failure to submit payment may result in service suspension
Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers. Smiley’s does not store full payment card information.
6. Satisfaction Guarantee and Re-Cleans
If you are not satisfied with the service, you must notify us within 24 hours of service completion.
Smiley’s may, at its discretion, offer a re-clean of the affected area. Refunds are not guaranteed and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
7. Damage, Breakage, and Liability
Smiley’s Cleaning Services is not responsible for:
- Normal wear and tear
- Pre-existing damage
- Improperly secured items
- Items not disclosed as fragile or valuable
Any damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion. Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
8. Health and Safety Conditions
Smiley’s reserves the right to refuse or stop service if unsafe or hazardous conditions are present, including but not limited to:
- Biohazards
- Mold infestations
- Insect or rodent infestations
- Unsafe structural conditions
9. Website Use
You agree not to misuse this website, submit false information, or attempt to interfere with its operation.
10. Intellectual Property
All website content, logos, text, and branding are the property of Smiley’s Cleaning Services and may not be used without permission.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Changes to These Terms
Smiley’s Cleaning Services reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
